Kyma began with a decision to come home. Two brothers who spent 2024 living abroad returned to Lebanon in 2025 with a plan to invest in the country's future. What they built is a coastal restaurant inside an old family house, with a menu that follows the sea.
Why two brothers came back in 2025
For the brothers, moving back was a choice to put their time and money into Lebanon. They chose hospitality for a simple reason: they wanted to meet people and create experiences guests remember. A restaurant gave them room to do both.
A 1960s family house with a second life
Long before it served a single plate, Kyma was a family home. The house dates back to the 1960s. Today its stone walls and shaded walkways lead guests to tables set right by the water.
A menu set by the daily catch
Kyma cooks around daily fresh catches. Whatever comes in from the sea decides what goes on the plate, so the flavors keep changing. As the brothers put it, every visit to Kyma is different.
Community at the center of the table
Food is only part of the idea. The brothers built Kyma around community and hospitality, as a place where people gather, sit by the sea, and share whatever the day brought in.
