Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Hypebox Media SARL (“Hypebox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the publisher of LeBusiness. They apply to your use of the LeBusiness website at leb.business, its newsletters, directory, forms, and related services (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, creating an account, or submitting anything to us, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
1) Who can use the Services
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
- If you use the Services or submit content on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to act for them and to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2) Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us at info@leb.business if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3) Content you submit
This section covers everything you send us through the Services, including company and founder listings, advertising, feature, and campaign requests, opinion articles, author and job applications, reviews, logos, photos, and other files (“Your Content”).
A) Accuracy
When you submit Your Content, you confirm that:
- it is true, accurate, current, and not misleading;
- any figures, milestones, awards, funding, or claims about a business or person are correct and can be backed up if we ask; and
- you will tell us promptly if any of it stops being accurate.
We may ask for proof, and we may decline, correct, or remove content we believe is inaccurate.
B) Rights and permissions
You confirm that you own Your Content or have every right needed to send it to us, including:
- rights to the logos, trademarks, photos, and text you upload; and
- the consent of any person who is named, quoted, or pictured in it.
C) Permission to publish
You keep ownership of Your Content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, edit (for length, style, clarity, accuracy, or legal reasons), translate, format, publish, and distribute it on LeBusiness, in our newsletters, and on our social media channels, and to promote the Services with it. The licence lasts for as long as the content is published, and for a reasonable time afterwards for archived pages, newsletters already sent, and posts already shared.
D) Editorial decisions
Our editors review submissions. We decide whether to publish, what to publish, and when. Submitting something, or paying a fee, does not guarantee publication, a particular placement, timing, headline, or angle. We may edit, decline, or remove any content at our discretion.
E) Changes and removal
To update or remove something you submitted, use My Listings where available or email info@leb.business.
4) Directory listings and fees
- Company and founder listings carry the one-time fee shown before checkout. The fee is charged per listing.
- You can pay online through our payment provider or by any other method agreed between you and us, such as bank transfer or invoice. When you pay by card online, the payment provider processes it and we do not receive or store your full card details.
- Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Paying the fee does not guarantee approval.
- If we decline a listing you paid for, email info@leb.business and we will review a refund. Once a listing is approved and published, the fee is non-refundable.
- Approved listings stay published with no renewal fee. We may still edit or remove a listing that is inaccurate, breaks these Terms, or must come down for legal reasons.
5) Advertising and sponsored content
- A request sent through our Advertise form is not a booking. Pricing, placements, dates, and deliverables are agreed separately in writing, for example by quote, invoice, or email.
- Advertisers are responsible for their ads and sponsored material, including every claim in them, and for complying with the laws that apply to them.
- We label ads and sponsored content as such.
- We may refuse, pause, or remove any ad or sponsored content.
- View and click figures we report are for information. We do not guarantee any level of traffic, reach, or results.
6) What you must not do
When using the Services, you must not:
- submit false or misleading information, or impersonate a person or business;
- upload anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- send spam or repeated submissions through our forms;
- upload viruses or malicious code;
- access the Services with bots or other automated means that overload them, or copy our content in bulk;
- artificially inflate views, clicks, or other metrics; or
- try to get around our security or access areas you are not allowed to access.
We may suspend or close accounts and remove content that breaks these rules.
7) Our content
Articles, photos, design, the LeBusiness name and logo, and other material on the Services belong to Hypebox or its licensors. You may read and share links to our content and quote short extracts with credit and a link to LeBusiness. You may not republish full articles, or use our content commercially, without our written permission. Logos from our Media Kit may only be used to refer to LeBusiness.
8) Information only, not advice
- Our articles, market data, and currency rates are for general information. Market and currency data can be delayed or wrong. Do not rely on it for trading or financial decisions.
- Nothing on the Services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
- LeConnect introduces founders and investors. We are not a broker or adviser, we do not endorse any company or investment, and you are responsible for your own due diligence.
9) Third-party links and services
The Services link to and embed third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.
10) Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on them, including listings and content submitted by others, is accurate or complete.
11) Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Hypebox is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12) Your responsibility for claims
You agree to compensate Hypebox for claims, losses, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise from Your Content or from your breach of these Terms.
13) Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, and remove Your Content, if you break these Terms or if we are required to by law. Sections 3(C), 7, 10, 11, 12, and 15 continue to apply after that.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the new Terms. Submissions are governed by the version in force when you submitted them.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. The courts of Beirut have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to the Services.
