Days coffee products on a white tiled counter with orange grout: bags of coffee beans, boxes of espresso capsules and branded paper cups spilling coffee onto a silver tray.

On International Coffee Day, Days has a second reason to mark the date. The Beirut coffee brand, founded in 2025 by co-founders Youssef Rahal and Rawad, completes its first year on October 1.

In twelve months, Days has sold more than 35,000 sleeves of coffee and launched in more than 150 stores in the UAE. It has also become the first Lebanese coffee brand to receive a Great Taste Star, a recognition it shares with brands like Illy.

Coffee that ships the month it is roasted

The idea started with coffee at home. Youssef and Rawad wanted the coffee people brew in their own kitchens to taste better, and they saw a clear problem: a lot of packaged coffee reaches buyers months after it was roasted.

Their answer was a system built around timing. Days roasts in small batches in Beirut and ships the coffee within the same month. The goal is simple: the coffee should reach the customer at peak flavor, not after months of waiting.

Roasted in Beirut, stocked in 150+ UAE stores

Every batch is roasted in Beirut, yet the brand's shelf presence already stretches to the UAE, where Days is now available in more than 150 stores. For a company in its first year, that reach puts a Lebanese product in front of a large regional audience.

Sales have kept pace. More than 35,000 sleeves have been sold since the brand launched.

A Great Taste Star in year one

Days is the first Lebanese coffee brand to receive a Great Taste Star. The award places it alongside established names such as Illy, and it gives shoppers trying the brand for the first time an outside signal of quality.

    Two occasions on one date

October 1 now carries two meanings for the team: International Coffee Day and the end of the brand's first full year. The model that got Days here is the one it started with: small batches, roasted in Beirut, shipped fresh.
