LeBusiness is launching a podcast. Every episode is a real conversation with someone building a business in Lebanon — founders, operators, investors, and the people running the companies you read about on our site.
We're looking for a host to front it. This is a freelance role, paid per episode, recording in Beirut.
What you'll do
Host the interviews — carry the conversation, ask the questions people actually want answered, and keep it moving
Book guests: build and work a pipeline of entrepreneurs and business owners worth an hour of our audience's time
Research every guest properly — their company, their numbers, their market, what's been written about them — and come in with a real line of questioning, not a generic list
Prepare an episode brief and question outline before each recording
Work with our editorial team so each episode connects to what we're publishing, and flag the moments worth clipping for social
Production, editing and distribution are handled on our side. Your job is the conversation and everything that makes it good.
What we're looking for
Someone comfortable and natural on mic and on camera
Real curiosity about business — you should be able to hold your own with a founder about margins, hiring, funding or a bad quarter
Excellent Arabic and English; you'll be switching between them depending on the guest
Good instincts as an interviewer: you listen, you follow up, and you're willing to ask the uncomfortable question politely
A network in the Lebanese business or startup community, or the confidence to build one fast
Based in Beirut and available for recording days
Nice to have
Previous hosting, presenting, broadcast or interviewing experience
An existing audience or public profile
Familiarity with recording setups and studio etiquette
How to apply
Send us a link to anything that shows you on mic or on camera — a podcast, a panel, a video, even a good voice note. Tell us the first three guests you'd book and why.
