    Spinneys Opens New Antelias Branch

Spinneys Lebanon has opened a new branch in Antelias at The Hub, expanding its physical retail network as competition in Lebanon’s grocery and household shopping sector continues to evolve.

The company announced that the Antelias branch would open on April 23, 2026. Its official branch finder now lists 18 branches across Lebanon, including the new Ajaltoun location in Keserwan.

    Larger Format, Wider Retail Mix

The Antelias store positions Spinneys around a broader shopping experience, not only groceries. Local coverage described the branch as an expansive location with sections for household essentials, electronics, skincare, beauty products and other categories.

The move reflects a larger retail strategy under Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon, which says Spinneys expanded to 17 branches after its first flagship store and later developed online shopping and delivery services.

    Key expansion signals include:

    • A new large-format store in Antelias

    • A recently opened branch in Ajaltoun

    • Online grocery delivery across parts of Lebanon

    • Wider non-food categories inside select stores

    • Continued support for local producers through Souk El Beit

Local Producers Remain Part of the Retail Strategy

Spinneys has also continued to highlight Souk El Beit, its initiative to support small local businesses, homemade products, artists and creators. The company launched the market to give Lebanese producers a retail platform and strengthen community engagement.

The Antelias opening points to a wider bet on modern retail formats in Lebanon, combining supermarket shopping, delivery, household categories and local supplier visibility under one brand.
