    HORECA Lebanon Marks 30 Years With November Return to Seaside Arena

    The sold-out hospitality and foodservice show moves from April to November 10 to 13 and adds a third exhibition hall.

    Hospitality Services has moved the 30th edition of HORECA Lebanon from its original April slot to November 10 through 13, 2026, with the show again taking over Beirut's Seaside Arena from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day. The April calendar was scrapped after what the organizer described as recent developments in Lebanon and the region. The exhibition had already sold out before the postponement.

    "Rescheduling this landmark edition allows us to preserve the level of experience, engagement and meaningful business networking that the industry looks for at HORECA Lebanon," said Joumana Dammous-Salamé, managing director of Hospitality Services.

    A Bigger Floor for the Anniversary

    The 30th edition is expected to draw more than 24,000 professional buyers and over 400 exhibitors across 13,000 square meters, with a third exhibition hall added for the first time. That extra hall is the most concrete sign of how far HORECA Lebanon has grown since its first edition in the mid-1990s, when the country's hospitality sector was still rebuilding after the civil war.

    Exhibitors cover the full supply chain: food and beverage, hotel and kitchen equipment, technology, design and hospitality services. For Lebanese operators sourcing for restaurants, hotels and cloud kitchens, the show remains the largest single procurement window of the year.

    Competitions, Talks and a Hosted Buyers' Program

    The four-day program runs parallel to the floor. HORECA Innovations will showcase more than 30 products made in Lebanon, picked by an expert panel and grouped by food, beverage, equipment and services. HORECA Talks, the panel series produced by Hospitality News Middle East, will bring more than 100 speakers to the stage.

    The competition slate is just as packed. The Hospitality Salon Culinaire and the Junior Chef Competition take the HORECA Stage. The Barista Competition, Lebanese Bartenders Competition and Mocktail Competition run at HORECA Theatre. The Art of Service Competition tests service and housekeeping teams on speed and precision. Live cooking demonstrations at Al Matbakh and beverage workshops at HORECA Theatre round out the agenda.

    On the business side, the Hosted Buyers' Program will fly in regional buyers to meet exhibitors directly, while the Job Meeting Point will pair employers with hospitality professionals looking for work.

    An Annual Fixture That Has Survived Every Crisis

    Three decades in, HORECA Lebanon is one of the few annual fixtures in the country that has held through every economic shock, security crisis and currency collapse thrown at it. For suppliers, distributors and restaurateurs working with thin margins and unpredictable demand, the show has functioned as a yearly reset: a place to lock in contracts, screen new equipment and read the room.

    "Reaching our 30th edition is not only a celebration of longevity but of continuity," Dammous-Salamé said. "HORECA Lebanon has evolved alongside the industry itself, reflecting the resilience, creativity and ambition of professionals who continue to build, adapt and move forward in spite of challenges."

    Project director Randa Dammous-Pharaon framed the goal in plainer terms: "To create a space where professionals meet with purpose, to do business, exchange knowledge, discover talent and explore what's next for the industry."
