H&M has picked Elie Saab for its next designer collaboration, taking the Lebanese couturier's red-carpet style to the high street. The collection goes on sale on October 22, 2026, in selected H&M stores and on the retailer's website.

The range covers womenswear, menswear, accessories and shoes. H&M says shoppers can expect embellished gowns, shimmering separates, sharp tailoring, fine lace, gradient sequins and pieces carrying the Elie Saab monogram. Prices and the number of pieces have not been announced.

Where the Collection Will Be Sold

In the Middle East, the collection will be stocked at selected H&M stores in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Egypt, as well as online. Lebanon is not on the confirmed list so far. Globally, H&M is treating the launch as a worldwide release across its main markets and e-commerce.

    Saab on the Partnership

Elie Saab, chairman and chief creative officer of the house, said the collection "is created for all who admire the world of Elie Saab," adding that he hopes "it will be embraced with the same enthusiasm it was created with." Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's creative adviser and head of womenswear design, described the line as "a magical, ornate and glamorous collection."

A Beirut House on a Global High Street

Saab founded his fashion house in Beirut in 1982, building his early reputation on bridal and evening wear before expanding into ready-to-wear and accessories. In 2003, he became the first non-French designer admitted to France's Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and showed his first haute couture collection in Paris that year. His gowns have since become a fixture on award-season red carpets, worn by names such as Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez.

For H&M, designer tie-ups are a long-running formula. Past collaborators include Karl Lagerfeld, Versace, Balmain, Moschino, Mugler and Glenn Martens. Saab is the first Lebanese designer to get the slot, which puts a Beirut-born brand in front of H&M's mass audience at price points far below the house's couture and ready-to-wear lines.

The Elie Saab x H&M collection launches on October 22.
