Christopher El Feghali led every lap at Paul Ricard to claim his maiden single-seater victory, his first car-racing win since joining the Red Bull Junior Team and signing with Drivex.
Lebanese racing driver Christopher El Feghali took his first win in single-seater racing this weekend, leading every lap of the Eurocup-3 Sprint Race at the Paul Ricard circuit in southern France. El Feghali, racing for Drivex , beat Enzo Tarnvanichkul to the line, with James Egozi completing the podium. The result came at the opening round of the 2026 Eurocup-3 season and is the first car-racing victory of El Feghali's career, following years of national and continental titles in karting. From Karting to a Red Bull Contract El Feghali has been part of the Red Bull Junior Team since 2024, the in-house program that has produced drivers including Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel. He earned the contract after winning the Senior Max class at the Lebanese Karting Championship and progressing through Red Bull's annual driver search program. His commercial side is handled by Minardi Management , the agency founded by former Formula 1 team owner Giancarlo Minardi. That signing in May 2024 placed El Feghali on the same roster used by several drivers who have since moved into FIA F3 and F2. A Family Built Around Motorsport El Feghali is the son of Abdo Feghali , the Lebanese drift driver who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest vehicle drift and has been a Red Bull athlete for over a decade. His uncle, Roger Feghali , is one of the most decorated rally drivers in the Middle East and has won the Rally of Lebanon multiple times. While the Feghali name has been a fixture in regional motorsport for two decades, Christopher is the first member of the family to enter the European single-seater ladder that feeds Formula 1. What the Win Means for the Season Eurocup-3 is one of the regional championships used by drivers progressing toward FIA Formula 3, the third tier of the global open-wheel pyramid. The 2026 calendar runs across European circuits including Spa, Monza, and Barcelona. James Egozi has taken the early championship lead after strong results across the weeke
