Getting from Beirut to Batroun usually means a drive up the coastal highway. Starting this weekend, there is another option. Cedar Waves, the operator behind Lebanon's revived international ferry service, is adding weekend rides by sea between the two cities.

The first sailing is scheduled for Saturday, July 19. According to the company's announcement, the service will run every Saturday and Sunday, departing from Zaituna Bay in Beirut and docking at Batroun Port about one hour later.

    How the Weekend Schedule Works

The ferry leaves Beirut at 10 AM and reaches Batroun at 11 AM. Its return trip departs Batroun at 6 PM and arrives back in Beirut at 7 PM.

That timing gives passengers close to seven hours in Batroun, enough for a beach day, lunch by the water, or a walk through the old souks before heading back.

    What a Ticket Costs

A one-way ride is priced at $20, and a round-trip is $40, based on the details shared by the operator. Booking is handled directly through the Cedar Waves website.

Passengers can also reach the company by phone at +961 9 918 184 or +961 81 408 468, or by email at info@cedarwaves.com.

From International Crossings to Local Runs

Cedar Waves moved into passenger ferry service earlier in 2026, reconnecting Lebanon to Cyprus by sea after roughly two decades without a scheduled route. That crossing links a Lebanese port with Larnaca.

This new route is a shorter, domestic addition aimed at weekend travelers and summer visitors. It turns a routine trip up the coast into a chance to see Lebanon's shoreline from the water.
