NTT DATA acquires Zero&One in Middle East cloud expansion

Zero&One grew from a small Beirut team into a regional AWS Premier partner. NTT DATA says it will expand cloud and AI delivery across the Middle East.

NTT DATA has acquired Zero and One , a regional cloud consultancy and AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, in a move the company says will accelerate its cloud growth across the Middle East. The acquisition was announced in February 2026, and financial terms were not disclosed.  Zero and One’s story matters to Lebanon’s tech narrative for a simple reason. It is a services led cloud company built by Lebanese operators and engineers, scaled across the region, and acquired by one of the world’s largest IT services groups. What NTT DATA said it is buying In its announcement, NTT DATA described Zero and One as a leading regional cloud consultancy founded in 2017 and headquartered in Dubai. It said the company specializes in cloud native services including application modernization, cloud operations, AI and machine learning, and data analytics.  NTT DATA also highlighted several capability signals: nine AWS competencies, and being the first in MENA to achieve the AWS Generative AI Competency. It added that Zero and One was named AWS MENA Consulting Partner of the Year in 2025, and received EMEA level partner awards.  How Zero and One built credibility Zero and One announced in 2022 that it achieved AWS Premier Tier Services Partner status, describing it as recognition of expertise in designing, building, migrating, and managing customer workloads on AWS.  Today, the company’s own website states that Zero and One is now part of NTT DATA and positions the combined offering around stronger cloud and AI capabilities.  What changes after the deal NTT DATA framed the acquisition as a way to strengthen its regional cloud capabilities and meet growing demand for AWS related services in the Middle East.
