Karen Wazen, the Lebanese entrepreneur and eyewear founder, is opening a beach club in Lebanon. The venue is set for the rooftop of the Aishti complex in Jal El Dib, north of Beirut, and it brings home a concept she first tested in Dubai earlier this year.

The opening is reported for July 1, 2026. Wazen has not yet released full details on the Lebanon venue, but her Dubai run gives a clear sense of the format and look.

The Dubai run that started it

Earlier this year, Karen Wazen Collection took over the beachfront terrace of Bebabel at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. The pop-up ran as a seasonal beach club from April through May rather than a permanent venue.

The setup turned the space into a branded extension of Wazen's eyewear label. It became easy to spot for its black-and-cream striped look, its monochrome palette, and the infinity emblem placed across umbrellas, loungers and sculptural surfboards.

What the day looked like in Dubai

Guests could lounge by the water, but the offer went past sunbeds. The venue featured branded backgammon sets and padel boards, a boutique stocking the full By Karen Wazen eyewear range, and merchandise that included striped beach towels.

Food and drinks were part of the day too. Visitors could order handcrafted cocktails, pick from Bebabel's Lebanese-inspired menu, and stop at a signature coconut cart, with branded items available throughout.

What the Lebanon version may carry over

Specifics on the Jal El Dib venue have not been confirmed, so the Dubai concept is the best available guide. Both Wazen and Bebabel have Lebanese roots, which points to a setup that keeps the clean, recognizable branding while adding local touches.

The Aishti complex sits north of Beirut and already houses retail and the Aishti Foundation art space, giving the rooftop a built-in draw. More details on the Lebanon edition are expected closer to the July 1 opening.
